Does a single nodelocked license file support multiple matlab versions

2 views (last 30 days)
For instance, if I have a nodelocked license for R2019a; does that license support all previous versions of Matlab? Lets say I need to verify that my code works correctly with versions R2010b, R2013b, and R2018b but I have only one nodelocked license of R2019a. Does a single license file support all of those versions?

Technically, a license should support all previous versions. That's usually how it works, otherwise paying for only one specific Matlab version would get extremely expensive later on if you need a previous version and are forced to pay for it. I'm just guessing here, but I think you may be issued a different acttivation code for different Matlab versions?
