How to manage NaN in matrix during imwarp/fitgeotrans

I have a matrix that contains NaN. What is the best way to perform imwarp/fitgeotrans or imrotate operations on the matrix without changing the mean value of the elements of the matrix?

mean or mean2?
How do you find mean of matrix which having NaN elements? It Normally gives NaN
A =
16 2 3 13
5 NaN 10 8
9 7 6 12
4 14 15 1
>> original_mean=mean2(A)
original_mean =
NaN
