Hi,
How can I use the syms toolbox thru my student license or my university license?
Otherwise, should I buy it?
I look forward to hearing from you with hope!
Bests,
Minji

There aren't many toolboxes that are not available with a student license, and I believe I've seen the symbolic math toolbox is available.
The people who can tell you if your university license covers the symbolic math toolbox is not us volunteers, it is the IT staff of your uni.
The question if you should buy it is not for us either, but a personal choice. Can you afford it, and does it make sense to spend the money for what you are planning to do?

The Student Suite bundle includes the Symbolic toolbox.
The Student Version (not bundled) has it available as an optional extra cost.
Academic accounts can purchase access to Symbolic toolbox. There is no general Academic bundle, but some universities belong to consortia that have negotiated bundles for their purposes. It is difficult for us to predict whether your particular university has purchased access to the Symbolic Toolbox... though it is one of the more common products.

First you can check whether you have a license to this toolbox through this website
Just enter your license number here and you can find a list of toolboxes that youhave license to. To find your license number type the following command in MATLAB command line
