I was doing my work on a m file for last 4 hours and I did not save it. Now I accidentally turned MATLAB off and is there anyway to recover my code?

Look in the folder for a .ASV file with the same base file name.

What if it was my scratch file that was still untitled? I recognize I am a fool, but here I am...
Thanks!

I guess, for those other fools who seem to find themselves in my shoes...
Under Preferences > Edittor/Debugger > BackupFiles there is an option to "Save untitled files"
