Translating IDL to MATLAB: "Contour"

I am converting an old code from IDL to MATLAB. I have reached to a line that has "Contour" but its counterpart in MATLAB is confusing. The line in IDL is:
<Contour, PXY, x, y, levels=pxy, path_info=header, path_xy=path_xy, /overplot >
Has anyone had an expereince in using the above in MATLAB?
