Image color and brightness correction

Hello Matlab Community,

I want to do a color and brightness correction to an taken Image with a camera. I also got the original Image and the RGB values. So I want to correct the taken image to the reference image. See attached files, test_pattern1 is the original image, and test_pattern2 the taken picture. And I want to correct test_pattern2 as close as possible to test_pattern1, so that they look pretty much the same.

Force the gray pixel only to max all values R,G,B in test_pattern2?
