Why do Apple iOS examples crash on iPhone?

I have installed the Simulink Support Package for Apple iOS Devices, configured the hardware, etc., and successfully run the TestApp on my iPhone 6. However, the camera and scope example Simulink projects crash upon execution; camera example asks for access to the camera, but that's all. iOS 12.2, Xcode 10.2.
