Subplot UIAxes app designer

I saw the same question here but id doesn`t work (matlab documentation)

app.UIFigure.AutoResizeChildren = 'off';
ax1 = subplot(1,2,1,'Parent',app.UIFigure);
ax2 = subplot(1,2,2,'Parent',app.UIFigure);
plot(ax1,[1 2 3 4])
plot(ax2,[10 9 4 7])

The problem is that I want to plot it in an axes component, not in a figure. Even if a try to this with i get an error like this:

No appropriate method, property, or field 'UIFigure' for class 'ts_proj'

What can I do?

subplot() is supported in App Designer r2018b and later.

Documentation for r2018a and prior indicates its lack of suppor in app designer.

There are a lot of issues about Matlab updates on App designer. I acutally get away about this issue by plotting in a panel.
