matlab compatibility with spartan 6

hello.

if anyone knows or works with matlab, what would be the specific tool for a specific FPGA Spartan 6, I have doubts if using HDL coder.

HDL Coder generates portable, target-independent VHDL and Verilog from Simulink and MATLAB designs. The generated code can be used in any third-party simulator or synthesis tool.

The HDL Workflow Advisor directly supports the XUP Atlys Spartan-6 and Xilinx Spartan-6 SP605 development boards for fast prototyping in both the FPGA Turnkey mode and also for FPGA-in-the-Loop simulation. The Workflow Advisor can also directly drive the XIlinx ISE synthesis tool, configuring it to target any specific FPGA in the supported list. This list includes the Spartan-6 and Spartan-6 Lower Power families.
