How to hold previous selection in masked block

I had created filter block in Simulink to implement different types of filter with different combination like filter type, filter order etc

When I select and apply parameter's filter It updates other fields e.g. if I select design domains frequency parameters related to time are disabled.

Once I apply changes block will initialize and will implement selected filter and works fine.

The problem is when I try to configure the block for new type I will not have old settings. All field will be enabled and I need to reconfigure to disable settings.

How I can hold the values of previous configuration and update block parameters accordingly?
