Thermocouple measurement in Simulink Desktop Real-time using National Instrument devices

5 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
I want to measure temperature using thermocouple . Currently I have NI-9211 module with chasis NI-cDaq-9174 using these I can get temperture in session based interface. Can I use these hardwares in Simulink Desktop real-time to get temperature and perform real time simulation? If not, then which NI device will be needed to take temperature reading using thermocouple.
Thanks a lot.

Simulink supports NI 9211 and NI cDAQ-9174 for versions R2016b and above.

Thanks for reply.
Yes Simulink supports NI 9211 and Ni cDAQ-9174. Can NI 9211 with NI cDAQ-9174 be used in Simulink Desktop Real time envoirenment using Real time Sync block or any other way?

That is correct regarding Real time Sync block, did you manage to select K type thermocouple in the Simulink Anolog Input block in Data Acquisition Toolbox Library? I can only find mV measurement on my NI9212.
