Draw points on a image

Dear all,

I have an image that I need to draw points (can be cross or circles) over specified regions. But the total number of points would depend on the features identified in the image. In that regard, I would like to ask:

1. It is possible to click over an image and draw points as I localize the intended features?
2. Can I store the total of points selected?

If you have the image processing toolbox, there are a few tools that do what you're describing.
