INSERT A BASE MAP WITH CONTOUR MAP VIA MATLAB

Hello,

I have a question. I have create a contour map, with latitude,Longtitude and a value (X,Y,Z). I have used commands like meshgrid and it works . The problem is that i would like to put a base map and paste the contour map I ve created on the base map. Does anybody knows which command should I use in order to create it?

I mean that I would like finally to create a map like the example in the photo.

I am affraid that this is not what I need for my purpose. Look I think that i should use basemap or somtthing like this but I really have no idea..

I mean I have a contour map with Latitude, Longtitude and after this I want to add a basemap in order to paste the contour map I ve created on the basemap, according to the coordinates of contour map and base map too.

Like in Surfer of Golden Software.

Does anybody knows which commands should I use?
