I am trying to use the Lomb-Scargle function, plomb. A few questions.
- Is it a generalized Lomb-Scargle or just basic? Does it account for a constant offset in the data?
- Lomb-Scargle does a curve fit to y(t) = a*sin(2*pi*f*t) + b*cos(2*pi*f*t). Your routine produces something like power spectrum ~ 20Log(sqrt(A^2_b^2)). is this correct? Can it report out the "a" and "b" ?
- How does the 'pd' work? It sometimes give me peaks the exceed 100%. how can that be?
