Hello,
I'm trying to run Simulink on a linux cluster that doens't have X installed. When I try to load my model with load_system('model.slx') I get the following error:
'/***/apps/MatlabR2018a/bin/glnxa64/libmwsimulink.so':
libXcomposite.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I've found previous answers in the past that suggest to add this library to an exlude folder, but I don't have any admin privilege to do so or to install libXcomposite. However, since I need to run the script in batch, I don't need to interatct with any windows or GUI.
Is there a way to run Simulink without GUI /X /this library?
Thank you

This error may occur if you are launching it from $MATLAB/bin/glnxa64/ (or, for 32 bit versions, $MATLAB/bin/glnx86/). -Where $MATLAB represents the MATLAB installation directory.
Instead, try launching it from $MATLAB/bin/matlab.
