Signal Analyzer app cannot edit filter values

I'm running Matlab 2019b update 3 on Linux (Manjaro) and am having trouble using the signal analyzer app. I can import and view a signal but cannot edit any of the values for the filters or other parameters in the toolbar. For example if I load a signal and try to apply a low pass filter I can't edit the passband fequency value or stopband attenuation value. They can be highlighted but can't be changed or deleted, which makes the app pretty useless. This also applies to any other entry box in the toolbar. Can anyone suggest why this is happening or how to solve it?
