Is there a way to get the confidence bounds when fitting curves using optimisation toolbox

I have found coefficients for an equation using data I have from an experiment, using the curve fitting via optimisation approach(like thishttps://uk.mathworks.com/help/matlab/math/example-curve-fitting-via-optimization.html ).Is there a way to get the confidence bounds as you do with the ordinary curve fitting toolbox?

Hello Kieran,
As you noted correctly curve fitting toolbox ('fit') gives the 'goodness of fit' metric whereas optimization approach does not. This will make it unclear in order to select the toolbox.
