Hi ,
Is it possible to import 3D mesh to matlab.
I have created a mesh(Non-uniform mesh) in Unigraphics NX which i have exported as a item file. I have written a script to extract the mesh data into matlab.
I tried using generateFromMesh command and created the geometry from the nodes and topology. But when i generate mesh using generateMesh command, a uniform mesh is created and other features like faces of the mesh is changed.
Is there a way to directly import mesh into matlab as it is..
Thanks for the help
Regards,
Lalson

What data do you have? And what format of data you want to use in MATLAB

I've used stlread before to read in a surface mesh file before. Is that an option for you?
