I've been working on getting OpenCV 4.2 working with R2019a (probably a bad idea). I've already logged some defects and I might make some contributions to the Matlab section opencv-contrib code. Just out of curiosity, what version of the OpenCV library did R2019b ship with? I have R2018 (OpenCV 3.1) and R2019a (OpenCV 3.4) installed.

Hi, I understand that you would like to know the version of OpenCV shipped as part of Computer Vision Toolbox support package. One can obtain this information from the toolbox release notes. As of now OpenCV 3.4.0 is the latest version of the support package which supports MATLAB releases from 18b to 19b.
