how to download simscape?

I have MATLAB_R2018 b installed on mac OS. It has no Simscape in this version. Are we supposed to buy this product seperately or is it a product of latest version of MATLAB? I downloaded MATLAB using student account. Can anyone please help?

Simscape is available in R2018_b and it is compatible for Mac Os.
Have you tried installing Simscape toolbox by using Add-Ons in Matlab?

Simscape is not included in the Student Suite bundle. If you have a Student license, you will need to purchase it separately.
(If what you have is really an Academic license provided by your University then your University would have to provide the license for you.)
