Hello.
When I click the Matlab, directly after the picture of matlab logo, there comes the saying "failed to initialize Java" and the program does not work.
My matlab is 2020a version and I need some help with this problem.
Thank you.

I solved my problem. What I did was uninstall matlab and install again. As I installed matlab before JAVA, I supose that the system didn't know what to do, so I then I installed matlab after having java.

What do you mean by installing java? Can you explain the steps? Because I have the same issue.

Eng: This problem is caused by matlab's complicated code reading system, it may occur because you changed the file directory of the application, there are two options to solve this problem, first undo do the changes you made on the directory. Second, go to properties of the application and change the file directory to address that you put the systems files of the matlab.
(I recommend the first option, because every time you update a software related to matlab, you are going to have to apply the second option again and again.)
TR: Problemin sebebi matlab'in dosyaları okuma yönteminin biraz karmaşık olması, eğer matlab sistem dosyalarını bir yerden kesip başka bir yere yapıştırdıysanız matlab bu dosyaları okuyamıyor, bundan dolayı sistem dosyalarını ilk başta bulundukları yere tekrar taşımanız lazım, ya da matlab ikonuna sağ tıklayarak özellikler kısmına gidip dosya dizinini kes yapıştır yaptığınız yer neresi ise oraya uygun olarak ayarlamanız lazım, fakat ilk seçeneği tavsiye ederim çünkü matlab ile alakalı herhangi bir güncelleme yaptığınızda ya da matlab ile entegre çalışan başka bir yazılım güncellemesi yaptığınızda ikinci seçeneği her defasında uygulamanız gerekecek.

I both deleted and reinstalled Matlab and Java and still have the same error message. Anyone managed to know other solution?
