Hello everyone,
I am writing to ask if there is any way to take a Simulink UAV model and simulate it in AirSim. What I am trying to achieve is to use a high fidelity model within a photorealistic environment.
Is that possible? If not, is there any alternative simulator which can allow me to do this?
Thank you in advance

Hi Tong Yu Bao,
Did you find any way to do that ?
Thanks

The UAV Toolbox ships with Unreal library which can be used to connect to a photorealistic simulation in Unreal (which is what AirSim is built on)

Has anyone tested a connection with AirSim and Simulink using the UAV Toolbox? Does anyone know if the blocks provided in the UAV Toolbox will instantiate an UAV, determine initial position, and relay sensor data (IMU, GPS, camera, lidar) from AirSim to Simulink? These capabilities exist for a scene developed in Unreal Engine and while AirSim is based on Unreal Engine that does not guarantee compatibility. I'm looking into using UE or AirSim and doing some homework before taking a deeper dive. Thanks

I'm also curious. Will you update here if you find answers to your questions?
