Hi, whenever I run my code it assigns the ascii value to odd instead of the string value that I need. What's the best way to fix this?
str=['The value of the odd index number is ',num2str(i)];
len=length(str);
odd(rows,1:len)=str;
rows=rows+1;

How was "odd" initialized? If you initialized it to [] then instead initialize it to '' (the empty string)
