Matlab causing my MacBook to overheat and Matlab is slow and freezes

I have a MacBook Pro 2019 13inch running Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4, and every time I run Matlab it overheats and the fans are on full blast and Matlab is slow to respond or freezes

Hi,
Can you try disabling Source Control
This can be done by
- On the Home tab, in the Environment section, click Preferences.
- In the Preferences dialog box, in the MATLAB > General > Source Control pane, select None.
