How I can solve multivariable optimization problem without Optimization toolbox?

Hi,
I have optimization problem. I need to solve mininium of vector v=X*b, where is X integer 0 to 10 and b is float (price).
Sum of X are known and also min and max of each X cell.
In other words, I need answer which minice cost and returns X so that total sum is as a given and each cell stays inside known limits?
I dont have optimization toolbox...

It is straightforward to write your own genetic algorithm code for simple, unconstrained problems.

I would solve this in a loop for X = 0, X = 1,..., X = 10.
