Hausdorff's distance measure metric

Hello,

My query is:-

I have 2 images. I have calculated the Hausdorff distance between the two. The two images are very similar but the distance returned by Hausdroff's function is 500 . What can be the conclusion? Is the answer correct for two similar images? If possible please provide the Matlab code for Hausdorff's function for 2 images?
