Deleting Simulink Project from windows root

Hello,

(MATLAB R2019b)

My Simulink project has its root folder set as my windows root folder. This happened because it was referencing some progam files. Now all my simulink files are referenced to this project and I can not create any new projects.

I would like to delete the project completely, unfortunately the solutions given in the following two posts were not helpful, since this hidden folder did not exist. I assume Simulink was not able to create them in the first place.
