create a .dll and .lib file

Hello Matlab,

I have a .mexw64 file. From this file, I succeed to compile .dll file. I would like to know if it possible to compile a .lib file as well? Also what is the compiler matlab is using for compiling those file?

• If you are trying to compile any MATLAB file, then it’s corresponding .dll and .lib files gets linked in the process. But if you want to add external .lib files please refer this link
• In order to understand which compiler MATLAB is using for compilation you can make use of the following command

mex -setup language
