I am trying to display a stick man in 3D. I used to plot3 command and got the current_view .fig (this is default output of Matlab plot3 command) file on the attachment
but I would like get a view as shown in the desired_view.png on the attachment. I used rotate3d command with mouse interactively but I
could not got what I aimed. Do you have any suggestion to solve it?
Note: While I was trying to solve the problem I used view(az,el) command but I could not solve the problem. Default azimuth and elevation angles for current_view .fig

Thank you David,
When I run view ([ 1 0 0]) I got figure_1 and view ([ -1 0 0]) I got figure_2 . But they are not what I would like to see .
I am trying to get z-axis to be displayed on the top of the figure as shown on desired_view.png

Only view() is not enough. Try this
view([-90 0]);
camroll(-90);
