How to change a initial Seed in during Simulink?

4 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I am using random interleavers and deinterleavers in a Simulink progam. I want to change the initial Seed of the interleaver every 100 data frames. If I take the Seed from workspace, it remains constant all the simulation. I tried to create a random number in that simulink, store it to workspace and re-call it from the workspace to the interleaver block, but it did not work.
Can any body know how to come up with my problem? Thanks alot. Thang

The random intervleaver is likely not tunable during simulation. In other words, you have to stop, change the seed, then hit play again to change the seed.
To workaround this you can save and restore the simulation state. You can do this from a MATLAB script as well.
