Modeling & Simulation On Simulink?? Stuck with the start of it.

1 view (last 30 days)
I know simulink very well but over here iam stuck with the maths of it, iam not asking for homework help, iam just asking for guidance in simple words to give me a start. my qeustion is Which is preferable 1 processor or N processor, each of which is 1/Nth as powerful. Illustrate your answer with the use of SIMULINK to simulate both systems and compare them. Use N=3 or above and two optional distributions for arrival time and the service time. The image for the problem is here
What iam not able to understand this, how to start the block diagram, at hints even provided wil be grateful to give me a start. I will be very grateful, i dont need code and stuff, all i need is a start with hints with this subject expert. Thanks.

Seems to be queueing theory question. The right tool for this is a Simulink ad-on called SimEvents.
This example is pretty close to what you need to do.
