I am trying to simulate a communication between a node and a basestation using RF and calculate the RSS at the base station. Therefore, I was wondering does rxsite represent a receiving node such as a mobile phone for example?
The object created by rxsite can be considered as a receiving antenna located at a position set by the parameters like latitude, longitude, antenna angle and height. This receiver can also be defined as isotropic, monopole or other type of antennas, through 'Antenna' parameter.
Refer the documentation of rxsite for more information
Thanks for the reply Sai. From your answer I understand that we can mimic the receiving antenna within a mobile phone if we modify the parameters you have mentioned, is that correct?
I assume that you want to place this antenna at a location such that it is inside your phone and modify its parameters such that it appears as a receiving antenna of your phone. I think you may do that with appropriate parameters.
