Matlab app designer RPM indicator limits read only error

Hi,

I'm getting the following error when trying to modify the limits of the RPM indicator in app designer:

"You cannot set the read-only property 'Limits' of RPMIndicator."

The line of code that the error occurs on:

app.RPMRPMIndicator.Limits = [0 1000];

How can I fix this issue? I need to be able to change the limits of the display (either before running the code in the editor or in the code itself).

Hi,

Currently, the 'Limits' property of RPM Indicator is read-only hence you can't change its value, that's why you are getting that error. The RPM Indicator block displays measurements for engine revolutions per minute as percentage of RPM which varies from 0 to 110%. Refer to the following documentation for details:

But I do see the desire to change the limits of the RPM indicator. So, I have brought this issue to the concerned people and it might be considered in any future release.

Therefore, as of now display the RPM as a percentage only and keep the current limits.
