Setting to allow the user to change size of auto-flow panels in a mlapp?

Auto-flow is clear about it's purpose for changing of window sizes, but is there also a setting that allows the user of the app to slide the auto-flow panels left/right to (de/)emphasize them more, i.e. changing the size of the command window within matlab itself?
