Performance and Stability Run Excel Macro's

Hello everybody, I am currently using an external macro in Excel in my Matlab application. Now I have the problem that I sometimes send a lot of requests to this Marko and then my script always hangs up because Excel no longer answers, etc. Does anyone know a way how to increase the performance or the stability with one try and catch or something? Thank you.
