How to find optimum data using PCA?

1 view (last 30 days)
I need to find the best ratio of Food Waste and Sewage Sludge to produce methane. Thus, I compile all the data which consists of food waste and sewage sludge ratio with its methane production that I have got from my literature review in a table. Can I use Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to find the optimum data for my data sets? I only have two variables and one observation for now, so is it possible to use this data for PCA?
Below is my data sets which I obtained from different research paper.
I have performed the PCA for the above data sets. However, I didnt understand with the outcome. How do I get the optimum data from the PCA result?
Below is the PCA1 outcome. I follow the "yarpiz" method on PCA on youtube.
The second outcome is as below:
Can someone show me the step by step on how to find the optimum data using PCA on matlab?

I feel you have a misunderstanding of what PCA does. It is useful for identifying the variables that can best be used to describe your data based on their variance. You can find a nice explanation in this video.
