how to load video on matlab gui

im a bit confuse on how to load a video on matlab gui can anyone help me with the problem. Because i am trying to load the video on axes and i havent find any answer that is correct on google.

You can use implay(): https://www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R2020b/images/ref/implay.html to play video.

You can also make your own GUI as shown in following code

v = VideoReader('xylophone.mp4');

figure();
ax = axes();
frame = readFrame(v);
im_frame = imshow(frame, 'Parent', ax);

while hasFrame(v)
    im_frame.CData = readFrame(v);
    drawnow
end
