close all figure files without closing gui design file...

i designed a gui... and i got many results to display.... so i used figure file to display my outputs.... now when i select a new image.... i wanted to close all the previous outputs figure.... when i use close all my gui is also getting closed.... so what shud i do to close all figures except gui design..... please do reply....
