Is it possible to vectorize this loop?

A = rand(1, 100);
B = rand(1, 100);
w = 0;
for i = 1:length(A)
w = w + A(i).*B;
end

 Accepted Answer

w_new = (sum(w + A.*B(:),2))';

A = rand(1, 1000);

for k = 1:1000

w = sum(A' * B);

I get the timings (Matlab online!):
0.34 seconds
0.69 seconds
0.41 seconds
So check it on your machine is the vectorization is an advantage.
