Making element more than 600 takes forever.

I am trying to make an Optical Phased Array with 680 elements, I have imported my parameters from Lumerical FDTD and now want to make a linearly space array wtih 680 elements. Is it possible to use this system toolbox for high number of elements?

For more than 100 elements the simulation can take up to one hour depending on the computational power.
