Apps empty although Matlab says Statistics and Machine learning toolbox is installed

I would like to use the Classificatio learner App, and the Statistics and Machine Learning toolbox, but my "apps" tab is empty.
I tried finding an .mlappinstall file, but I haven't even though in my appdata/products/ I can find several XML documents with all toolboxes (ex. Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox 11.3 win64 174749796612293500.xml)
Is there something I can do to view the app on the app tab?

I'm not sure why the app doesn't appear in your app list but if you have the Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox you can initialize the app by executing this in the command window
classificationLearner
