Hello,
I am trying to use the battery block given in the Simpowersystems to get the charging characteristic of the battery. Please, your help is welcomed.
Thanks, Lukmas

Did you have a look at the block documentation and the demo model power_battery.mdl? Can you be more specific about your question?

Thanks for your response. Actually, I am trying to use the charging model of the lead_acid battery specified in your block documentation to get the charging characteristics of a lead-acid battery. When I did my simulation, with an initial state of charge(SOC) of 60%, my time-SOC charactersitic has a negative slope, instead of positive. DO you think I am doing something wrong here?
Thanks for your anticipated response.

That will depend on how you parameterized the battery block and what other structural changes you made to the Simulink model. There is a section in the documentation called "Extract Battery Parameters From Data Sheets", it might be useful to go through it.

Hi, I'm trying to copy the example circuit of the battery model. But the result in the scope show different graphs. I have attachments with my model and all parameter. Thank you for helping me.
