Hi Maria,
are you still looking for that documentation? Is this related to your work in Aachen?
Feel free to reach out.

Our online doc archive provides access only to the releases that are within 5 years of the current release. Right now, the oldest online doc available is R2018a.
To access the documentation for releases that are older than this, you can use the local offline documentation that is part of your MATLAB installation. If you have a license with active software maintenance, you can also contact support to request PDF documentation for older MATLAB releases.

As per the other answer, 2012b doesn't have easily accessed documentation. I have found, however, the 2012b release notes in this large pdf. Hope it helps.
