@cui I thought there was a non-disclosure agreement in place for the pre-release, which would mean you're not allowed to share this.

Available for download 11 Mar 2021.

The Google cache of the download page updated a quarter past midnight GMT, so it might not have been the 11th yet, depending on your local time. The cache for the Australian mirror at 10 Mar 2021 09:28:22 GMT still had R2020b.
Tongue in cheek detective work aside, the release notes are not yet working for me.

It seems that I will download 2020-b because I have to get the latest version as soon as possible , all thanks my friend .
If you have a Software Support Services contract, you might be eligible to beta-test the R2021a pre-release, which is currently available.

Less than 42 days to go!(☆▽☆)(☆▽☆)
... I was off by 8 days!!
... next time if you need a more accurate answer, ask your sales person, who can put you under non-disclosure agreement about the timing.

Yes, this table from the Wikipedia page for MATLAB is correct. It shows that since release R2006a the "a" releases have occurred in March (except for R2011a which was released in April.) I would claim that in March (and once in April) qualifies as "in the March timeframe".
The "b" releases occur in September or October, which I consider "in the September timeframe".
How do I set Matlab help centre to 2021a?
Nice!

In "the March timeframe". We don't give the specific release date ahead of time.

You will not get an official answer with a precise time. However, Mathworks is a for-profit company. If you contact sales they might give you a price for which they might be willing to give you a more specific date (I don't work for Mathworks, so I'm just guessing here). Be aware that they may not even know yet themselves. Predicting things is hard, especially the future.
Bottom line, R2021a will be available somewhere in March (barring major unforseen events).
PS why are you ending all your posts with that shield symbol?

Release R2021a is now available.
Well, technically the documentation was available on the website last night and I expect the release was available for download at that time. But I didn't check the downloads.

According to the release not a bunch of low-level functions as been speed up, possibly get multi-threading. It looks great on tge paper.
