Do I need to install the MS compiler when I call FMU with Matlab2020b?
Which version of the compiler is required, and what are the requirements for compiling the FMU version of the compiler?

Are you using co-simulation interface or model exchange interface?

FMU import block only requires Simulink license. Simulink compiler is only required if you want to export standalone FMU. If you have a specific question about why your FMU doesn't work in 2020b, you can submit a service request with your FMU.
