C++ Code / I2C Raspberry Pi

Hi,
I have some existing c++ code which was compiled on my Pi to read the raw values from my IMU which is connected to the Pi's I2C GPIO pins.
I wish to build a simulink model using these raw values, is there any way I can either edit my code to send the data to simulink - or compile the code within simulink to run with my developed model on the Pi?
I have read into developing a cross-compiler, but this seem very complex for windows to pi.
Best Wishes Glen
