how to transpose a row matrix to column matrix

I am learning MATLAB online since I am new to the software and I am having a doubt with the below enclosed portion. It would be helpful if you could figure out the mistake I have committed in this section. Please see the task 6 of the section.

What that course incorrectly describes as transpose is actually the complex conjugate transpose operator.
The actual transpose operator is .'
I have yet to see any third-party course or book or tutorial that is not filled with factually incorrect statements that mostly serve to demonstrate that their authors did not even bother to read the MATLAB documentation. Much better:

Well you're not having any problem with the transposition. That's right. I guess it's complaining because it expects a vector from 1 to 10 instead of 1 to 5. I think it's expecting you to recycle the last x you calculated using linspace(1,10,5).
