How to combine basemaps with projected shapefiles?

I am building a program in appdesigner and I need to process and visualise vector and raster data. As both of the data is projected I use the mapshow function. In the map I also need to show a basemap that will help the user to decide what action to take.

When looking into help I only saw the basemap being ploted using the geo coordinas.

My question is:

1. How can I combine a basemap with a layer in projected cordinates.
