How to X forwarding matlab between two Mac (Mountain loin)

Hi, I have a MacPro with matlab (R2012b) installed on it. Now I want to use my MacBook Pro to access to matlab remotely (X forwarding).
I have made the set up corrected and installed Xquartz. Xeyes was working. However, I can't open matlab remotely. I have tried ssh -X or -Y, the matlab was actually opened on the macPro, rather than my laptop.
I know that remote access on Mac OSX can do the job, but it is not as smooth as X forwarding.
Can someone confirmed that matlab can be x forwarding between Mac? Thanks

HI, Did you get an answer? I have the same problem. I can only use matlab from the command line (matlab -nojvm) but without graphic output…

Thanks Chao for your answer. I wonder if it is possible to install Matlab as a linux/unix version on OSX with Xquartz in order to force the use of Xwindows? I will try when I will have time… Cheers, Phil
