Having scale that changes on same axis

i am trying to adjust the scale for the beginning of the x -axis so i can better see the elastic region of the graph for a stress strain curve..

The graph is attached and you can see the elastic region (straight line) is difficult to see on the graph thus I only want to change the scale for just this part of the graph.

I have changed axis to log scale but the graph appears in a way that I don't want

MATLAB does not have any support for changing a scale for only part of an axes. You will need to use a second plot.

Some people handle these kinds of situations by creating a second axes that overlays a part of the axes that does not have much of interest happening, such as in the 20 to 70 range, 0 to 0.2. On the other hand if you do that, you damage your ability to do pan and zoom.
